SMM has achieved a very important milestone at INEOS site in Scotland, after having performed the roof air raising of the ethane tank.

This air raising operation was exclusively performed by SMM, including design and operation coordination. State of the art technology in the field of variable speed drives was used to control the raising of the roof through the speed control of the air inlet fans, and to avoid power outages during the operation, a full automatic redundant power supply system was installed.
